 Youth Ministry

A New Vision for Youth Ministry at BSC

Christian formation is not limited to spiritual and catechetical formation -- it seeks to form individuals physically, morally, and intellectually as disciples of Jesus Christ.  With this in mind, Msgr. Riffle announced in June that our staff and volunteers would be working to build a more robust experience for our high school and middle school youth that includes faith, food, fun, and fellowship.

These sessions will occur on Sunday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with all students gathering in the Social Hall (location subject to change as the year progresses)

All youth preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation (all 8th grade, as well as High School students in preparation) are to attend fall Youth Ministry sessions as part of their preparatory formation.

For more information, please contact Sister Jeanne Marie Vonder Haar in the parish office.

Parents and youth should download our parish app to receive notifications about Youth Ministry.  Instructions for opting into Youth Ministry-specific notifications can be found on this page.

 New Youth Registration

All youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to take part in our Blessed Sacrament Cathedral's Youth Ministry program and may register at any time.  There is NO FEE to participate in the weekly program (costs for trips/outside activities will be given as those activities are publicized).  Parents should complete the Online Youth Ministry Registration form AND Consent to Treat/Photo Release Form. If health or insurance information changes, please notify Sr. Jeanne Marie.

Please complete the following:

ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM (Complete ONE for all youth in family)

CONSENT TO TREAT/PHOTO RELEASE FORM(.pdf) (Print and sign ONE for all youth in family; return to parish office by mail or turn in at first session)
