Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Do you know someone - maybe yourself - who:
- desires to be baptized?
- was baptized in another Christian church but now wants to become a Catholic?
- was baptized but was not raised in the
faith and who never celebrated First
Communion?
If so, the Church offers the opportunity for adults to complete the Sacraments of Initiation. You may want to enter into this journey toward full
membership in the Catholic Church. If you are interested in learning more about the RCIA program, please contact Fr. Bill Berkey at 724.834.3710 Ext. 25
or wberkey@dioceseofgreensburg.org.
Rite of Sending

At the 9:00 AM Mass on the Second Sunday of Lent, five members of our RCIA formation group
weres ent from our parish to
Bishop Brandt for the Rite of Election. This Rite
of Sending links the parish community to the whole
diocese or local church as these members of our RCIA
group joined with their peers throughout the diocese for a
celebration of God’s call in their lives. At this
year's Easter Vigil, Khara
McNair, John Wright, James Santoianni, Andrea Gemmell,
and Tara Pringle
will be received into the church. Please keep them
and all others preparing for this celebration in your
prayers. Please click

Rite of Election

On the First and Second Sundays of Lent, Catechumens and Candidates from across the Diocese participated in the Rite of Election during which they were presented to Bishop Brandt and formally enrolled their names in the Book of the Elect. Please click
