On Thursday,
December 4, we will celebrate a day of Eucharistic Adoration.
At the conclusion of 12:10 PM Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed
upon the altar. Adoration will conclude with Evening Prayer and
reposition at 6:30 PM.
Christ is present in many ways among us. He
is with us when we gather in His name. He is present in the proclamation
of God's saving Word. He reveals God's gracious power when through
his ministers he baptizes and forgives our sins. He is present
in the poor, and in all of our brothers and sisters in need. But
he is present most especially in the Blessed Sacrament. By receiving
and adoring Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, we allow ourselves to be
transformed into the presence of Christ.
All are welcome to join the parish in spending time
to pray in the presence of our Risen Lord in the Sacrament of the Eucharist
throughout the day. Please take and make the time to come
to the church.
