Museum of Art Parking Lot Privileges
Be advised that tickets will be issued and violators may be towed at their expense. This is a special zoned lot for museum employees only. Thanks to the Westmoreland Museum of Art we are permitted to park in their main lot when the museum is not open. This means we can use the main lot only for 8:00 a.m. weekday Masses, 5:30 p.m. Saturday Mass, 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday morning, and the 7:00 p.m. Mass on Sunday evening. The museum is our good neighbor and we need to observe when we can and cannot use their parking lots.
Parking Lot near Parish Office
For weekends and holy days only, the parking lot in front of the parish office is designated for those with special needs, those in wheelchairs, those who have difficulty walking, and those who require the use of the elevator. There are now signs in the middle section of the parking lot designating these spaces for those with handicapped plates or stickers only. The spaces along the far wall will be for those who do not have handicapped designation, but have special needs.
There is also an issue of people parking in the driveway. This path needs to be clear at all times in case of emergencies for medical vehicles and for our priests who may need to leave for an emergency. Problems in these regards have arisen in the past. Consequently in the future, violators may be towed at their own expense.
Parking Restrictions during Faith Formation
Please be advised that there is absolutely no parking in front of Aquinas Academy (the red brick building next to the parish) on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. while faith formation is in session. This will be strictly enforced to ensure our children’s safety as they arrive and are dismissed from formation classes. This area is also designated as a fire lane. If you park in this area, your vehicle may be towed at your own expense.
